Please note the following:

▪ We consider attendance to be of paramount importance. The Education Regulation 2006 states that Headteachers may not grant any leave of absence during term time unless there are exceptional circumstances. The school will ask for proof of the circumstances. Parents taking their child out of school without permission could lead to an £80 fine.

▪ We also require all routine medical appointments, for example, to the doctor, the hospital, and the dentist, to be made outside of school hours. This will ensure that there is a minimum of disruption to your child’s education. (NB: Optician appointments are not permitted during school times.) parents taking their child out of school without permission could lead to an £80 fine.
